South Scene Young Performers is run by me, Nicci Brown, a Southsea local with 20 years of theatre experience. 

I spent the majority of my childhood in my local theatre, performing as a founding member drama group Class Act Theatre School (CATS). My theatre journey has included performing with many amateur dramatic societies including Southsea Shakespeare Actors, founding a show choir 'The Muses', and teaching young people drama at summer camp in California. I have also achieved Level 3 Certificate in Speech and Drama: Performance Studies (PCertLAM) qualification and am DBS certified. 

My goal is to share with others the experience I had as a young person. Fostering a love of performing in a safe and encouraging space and creating opportunities to make friends and grow in confidence. The skills they will learn and memories they make will follow them through life. 

I am so excited to have launched South Scene Young Performers and can't wait to see what we can create!
