South Scene Young Performers

South Scene Young Performers is a dedicated youth drama organisation based at The Havelock Centre in Southsea. We specialize in creative theatre workshops for children aged 8–12.

Our goal is to build a supportive community where children can express themselves, make new friends, and build their confidence through performing. 

We support our students to achieve LAMDA qualifications. On their journey they will learn important performance elements such as diction, public speaking, vocal and facial expression and confidence in performing. We also play lots of drama based games building on skills in improvisation, devising and team work. Having already performed at Victorious Festival in Portsmouth, we are excited to put on more showcases as our numbers grow. 

Our current sessions run on Fridays 4.30-5.30pm - a fun way for them to finish the week!
